Memorial Day – A day of remembrance. Please never forget the ultimate sacrifice so many men and women have given for our country.

  1. I did it with family on my hubbys side it was amazing!!!! Had a big bbq played softball first time since high school I even HELD a bat.. ( that was like 10 yrs ago ) it was alot of fun!!

  3. Well, I’m from overseas so no Memorial Day here, we did have a national holiday though, but I did not celebrate, so I just had a lovely weekend filled with georgeous weather and nice moments.

    So nice btw of you to do this, and thought through, with the colours and all…. love it!

  5. Living in Canada we did not have memorial weekend! But it was a Jewish holiday. We celebrated the receiving of the Torah.

  6. We spent the day at grandma’s house – sandwiches and kids running through sprinklers. It was nice and relaxing!

  8. oh and i went to the beach for a bonfire and then i went to a friends bbq! i ate a lot of food! great weekend.

  10. We took our son to the carnival & the lake! We had a blast… :)

  16. I went to MIL’s house on Saturday, worked Sunday and stayed home with the family had bbq for dinner and watched movies. Both hubby and I are Army Vets so for us it was perfect.

  18. We spent the day cooking with my mother (retired from the navy) in the kitchen and on the grill :D And killing a giant ass spider, haha. That part wasn’t so fun though XD

  19. I worked the weekend but spent Monday with the family

  20. I just relaxed on the couch with my 2 dogs and painted my nails :)

  21. I spent the long weekend with my family; on Sat we had my dad’s family reunion and then Sun we had a graduation party for my little cousin….couldn’t have asked for a better weekend with family!

  23. I live in Canada, so we don’t celebrate it here… But we did go away for the weekend, to visit friends and family back home! :0)

  25. We went and visited some caverns a couple hours away and then spent the rest of the weekend just relaxing!

  26. I “celebrated” by working the evening shift at a psychiatric facility! It was OK :)
